30A – Final Reflection

1) One of the highs from this past semester was when I wrote the bug's list. Quite funny is how that was in the beginning of the year but that is when I realized there are a lot of unsolved and non-perfect "things" out there! The moments of dread were the weeks of assignments plus exam week where everything felt smushed together!
2) The most formative experience was interviewing students and others! It really showed me how important is asking the right question. The one experience I do feel most accomplished was possibly my first elevator pitch, it wasn't too long, super short and sweet!
3) I don't yet consider myself as an entrepreneur but I feel that I do attain some abilities that are found in an entrepreneur after taking this course. I feel a lot more confident in being able to embrace my failures and use it towards building a path for success.
4) I would recommend students to be ready to set time aside just for this class since it is online and you want to make sure you can learn as much from it. As well, attend the lectures in the beginning, you'll notice you'll stop going but you won't stop watching the lectures since you can pull them up online! Staying on top of everything is how you'll be able to achieve and succeed in the course.

  1. I completely forgot about the bug list! That was definitely one of my favorite assignments. And I agree with setting time aside for this class. People tend to think that you don't need a lot of time for an online class but I'd say that's the opposite.

  2. I like how you chose the bug list as one of your favorite moments, as it was really eye-opening to take a more in depth look at even simple day-to-day life. I really like your recommendation, as it's true that this class requires a lot of time and effort, and just because the class is online doesn't mean you can take it any less seriously.
